Pastor Chism grew up in Travelers Rest, SC and attended church with his family in Cleveland, SC. He was saved at age 11, in 1993. At age 12 on June 24, 1994, he was called to preach. In the fall of 2001 he started his training at Tabernacle Baptist College in Greenville, SC and graduated in 2005. On November 16, 2003, Pastor Jeremy was voted in as the pastor of Bethany Baptist Church. He and his wife, Maria have eight children. Pastor Chism also preaches camp meetings, conferences and revival meetings as the Lord permits.
